Lowongan Kerja Tambang Martabe Project – South Tapanuli – North Sumatera
PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), a subsidiary of G-Resources Group, a HK based Limited Company with their focus to become a major gold mining company operating within Asia. G Resources is developing the Martabe Project in North Sumatra, approximately 40 km south-east of Sibolga. Gold and silver ore will be mined by open pit methods using a mining contractor. A processing facility will be built adjacent to the pit to process ore at a rate of 4.5 Mtpa to produce approximately 200,000 oz of gold and 2 million oz of silver annually.
PTAR is now pleased to invite applications for Deputy Mine Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to enter into a Greenfield Mine Operation from the ground floor, develop their own mining team, grow the mine and make a difference. We are looking for self starters, motivated and career orientated person, to take the project to the next level of operation.
DEPUTY MINE MANAGER
The position will report to the Mine Manager and the successful candidate will be expected to act in this role during his absence. Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
• Minimum 10 years experience in open pit mines including management, planning and mine operations,
• Formal qualifications in mining or civil engineering,
• Kepala Teknik Tambang Certificate,
• Experience in mine planning and associated software,
• Experience in explosives and blasting management and administration,
• Experience in managing a mining contractor,
• Excellent communication skills including competence in speaking, reading and writing English,
• Experience in the construction of new mining operations will also be highly valued.
As part of the site management team, the incumbent will be expected to display exemplary leadership and commitment to the promotion and successful management of health, safety and environmental issues as well as the ability to foster good relationships with the local community.
The project is currently under construction with all necessary permits in place Mine Operations are expected to commence in 2010.
