I'm really enjoying some of Photoperfect's novel features! I am having difficulty with the masking functions, however.

If, for example, I create a tonal mask for an adjustment of some kind--ie. color saturation and completely saturate the image--afterwards, when I readjust the tonal settings on the still open/active mask, I observe no change in the resulting image as I adjust settings. Am I missing a step here to allow changes to happen after an adjustment is made by adjusting the masks?

Another useful purpose for this would be to apply noise reduction to an image using a plugin such as Topaz Denoise 5, and then change the tonal intensity of the noise reduction if, for example, you want to preserve detail in midtones and highlights. Again, when I try this, I observe no changes in the image as I adjust the still open mask dialog box.

Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated!
