Hi all,
The latest larger update of PhotoPerfect has been released. PP 3.20 build 19 greatly extends the color management due to a lot of users' request and offers a lot of new improvements, mostly "under the hood". Below are some of the major changes:
* Expanded colormanagement with selectable printer ICC profiles for printing, embedded profiles in JPEG + 24-bit-TIF files, automatic color profile recognition using Exif data and automatic support of monitor profiles to ensure color viewing accurracy when using 2 or more monitors
* Better integration and interaction in/with Windows 7 implemented
* Even faster acceleration
* New dcraw version (9.06) implemented, which supports latest cameras
* Updated versions of one-click-optimization extensions implemented
* New "Edit - Hybrid image editing" option, also available for batch processing
* New mode 'Optimized anaglyphe' added for 3D-stereo
* Additional scripting support
You can find this update on our download page- as usual:
Arcadia Software -Download
This update is free for all current users of PhotoPerfect 3.
Please note that there is also a 64-bit version of PhotoPerfect 3.2 available. In case you are using a 64-bit Windows version, utilize more than 3 GB RAM in your system and thus would like to use the 64-bit version of PP 3.2, please drop us a short message at: support@photoperfect.com to get the download link. There are still some restrictions necessary for the 64-bit version:
*You must have administrator rights for your Windows user account to fully utilize the 64-bit version of PhotoPerfect
*The automatic optimization extension XE847 (ProPlus) is not supported
*Only 32-bit plugins are supported
*The GPS coordinates and altitude transfer option of Google Earth is not supported
*A 64-bit driver of your scanner must be installed as well if you would like to use your scanner
Along with PP 3.2, a new version of MonochromiX is also available at the mentioned download page.
Cheers
