A new Chromebook produced by Samsung will be released in just a few days, on June 15. It will be a lightweight and small, 12.1-inch computer running Google’s own Chrome operating system, that is intended for mobile users. Unlike Windows and Mac computers, the interface of a Chromebook will be browser oriented and will require constant internet access to store documents and launch applications. As a matter of fact, the Chromebook netbook will have no hard drive space for storing documents. Google offers free online storage for Chromebook users thus minimizing the risk of losing any critical documents and making they available at any place.
As a bonus feature, Samsung Chromebooks will come with free 3G internet subscription from Verizon for as long as two years, so whenever you can not connect to internet via free wi-fi, you’re not going to pay for wireless 3G connection which may sometimes be costly.
The announce price for the Samsung 3G Chromebook is $499.
